Vinson & Elkins said Caitlin Lawrence rejoined the firm’s Finance practice as a Houston-based partner after having served at Baker Botts.
Ms. Lawrence’s experience comprises commercial and direct lending with a focus on energy financing including renewable and traditional energy, among other areas, the firm said.
“Her experience handling traditional and renewable energy and infrastructure transactions fits perfectly with our Finance practice and also complements our M&A work,” said Dave Wicklund, Vinson & Elkins partner and head of the Global Finance Practice.
Ms. Lawrence holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Notre Dame and a Juris Doctor from the University of Chicago Law School. She is also featured in The Legal 500 U.S. (2024) ranking for energy transactions: oil and gas.
