Vinson & Elkins Hires Aditi Sharma as NY-Based Finance Counsel

Vinson & Elkins said Aditi Sharma is the firm’s latest Finance counsel at its New York office, having previously served at Latham & Watkins, where she was a member of the Banking & Private Credit practice.

Ms. Sharma’s experience focuses on advising banks, other financial institutions and borrowers, and private credit funds on complex national and international leveraged finance transactions in the lending markets, the firm stated.

“Aditi has a rare breadth of experience having advised lenders and borrowers in private practice and on the client side,” said David Wicklund, Vinson & Elkins partner and co-head of the firm’s Finance practice. “That combination gives her a strong commercial sensibility and an understanding of what clients need.”
