Peter Bergan Joins Vinson & Elkins as Real Estate Partner

Vinson & Elkins said it hired Peter C. Bergan, Jr. to join the Real Estate Industry practice as a New York-based partner, having previously served at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe.

Mr. Bergan has over a decade of experience in data center assets and their full lifecycle including construction, M&A, and leasing, the firm stated. He has also advised on multibillion-dollar strategic partnerships and cross-border acquisitions, it said.

“Peter’s experience representing some of the nation’s largest technology and data center companies perfectly complements our fast-growing Data Center practice, which is helping clients build and scale power and data center projects globally,” said Kaam Sahely, Vinson & Elkins partner and co-head of the firm’s Transactional group.

Mr. Bergan holds a bachelor’s degree from Ohio State University and a Juris Doctor from Loyola University Chicago School of Law.
