EquipmentShare.com asked a judge to refuse the return to the company of ousted board member Neil Chheda because of misconduct during his term, Bloomberg News reported.
EquipmentShare alluded to several lawsuits against Mr. Cheddha that alleged “fraud, self-dealing, forgery, and breaches of fiduciary duty,” on the latest news in the ongoing litigation between Neil Chheda, co-founder of Romulus Capital Partners, and the company, the report said.
Mr. Cheddha cliamed in a lawsuit that the company’s executives defamed and ousted him from the board following the concerns he raised about “self-interested” deals and “sweetheart contracts” in benefit of the family that controls EquipmentShare, the report said.
