NEW YORK–(BUSINESS WIRE)–#CPF—The Church Pension Group (CPG), a financial services organization that serves the Episcopal Church, announced that it will host a series of expert panel discussions that will examine current trends in shareholder engagement.
The first event will be held on Friday, September 6, 2019, at the Washington National Cathedral in Washington, D.C. It will include a panel discussion with Christina Cobourn Herman, Program Director for Climate Change & Environmental Justice, Interfaith Center on Corporate Responsibility; Christopher Rowe, CFA, Vice President, Investments Department, CPG; Jennifer M. Rynne, CFA, Managing Director and ESG Analyst, Wellington Management, and John Wilson, Vice President, Director of Corporate Engagement, Calvert Research and Management. It will also feature presentations from Rebecca Linder Blachly, Director, Office of Government Relations, The Episcopal Church; and Michael Young, Director of Education Programs, US Social Investment Forum.
All clergy, lay employees, and volunteers who serve the Episcopal Church are welcome. There is no cost to attend the events, but individuals must register at cpg.org/Insights&Ideas, as space is limited.
Additional panels will take place in Seattle (October 29, 2019), Chicago (June 25, 2020), and San Diego (September 22, 2020). Information on these upcoming events will be published online as details become available.
