Jerry Jones bought the Dallas Cowboys in 1989 for $150 million—seen by some as absurdly high at the time. Today the team is valued at $11 billion, worth more than any sports franchise in the world.
Now, Mr. Jones is working his magic again with GameSquare Holdings Inc. (Nasdaq: GAME), which is embarking on an ambitious mission to reshape the way brands, game publishers, and entertainment interact with younger audiences. Mr. Jones is a major shareholder in the company and GameSquare is the creative agency of record for the Cowboys. Last year, they launched Dallas Cowboys Game Time, which is an interactive experience within Fortnite.
The company’s platform includes award-winning marketing and creative services, advanced data analytics solutions, and amplified outreach through its affiliation with FaZe Clan—one of the most recognizable and influential names in the gaming world.
Recent successes include:
-August 2024 proved to be a milestone for GameSquare, as the company reported record-breaking monthly contract wins.
-GameSquare’s subsidiary, FaZe Media, recently signed a major deal with G FUEL, a well-known energy drink brand favored by gamers.
-Collaborating with Topgolf by merging the excitement of virtual golfing with Fortnite’s dynamic gameplay, creating an immersive experience for players.
-Partnered with Clout, a fantasy esports platform, to create engaging new fantasy experiences tailored for esports enthusiasts.
The panel will be at the fourth annual Palm Beach CorpGov Forum on Thursday, Nov. 14. The full conference agenda can be viewed here.
