Vinson & Elkins said it appointed Sebastian Tiller as a New York-based partner and co-head of its strategic M&A practice.
Tiller brings extensive experience in domestic and cross-border M&A, representing corporations, private equity firms, and financial advisers, particularly in complex, high-value transactions across sectors like finance, technology, energy, and consumer goods, the firm said in a statement.
“Vinson & Elkins is the best platform for my practice, not just because the depth and breadth of its M&A capabilities but also its complementary strengths in such critical practice areas as tax, finance, intellectual property, antitrust, and real estate, and its exceptional client roster,” Tiller said. “Beyond that, what really drew me to the firm was its collaborative, pragmatic approach to handling transactions in a manner that delivers maximum value to clients.”
