Vinson & Elkins Hires Ed Moberly to Expand London Transactions Practice

Vinson & Elkins said Ed Moberly is the firm’s latest tax partner in London, addressing the firm’s rising demand for comprehensive tax support in complex cross‑border deals.

Mr. Moberly is a transactions-focused tax lawyer with experience in private equity, M&A, joint ventures, fund formations, restructurings, and selected contentious tax matters and investigations, it stated.

He joins from Kirkland & Ellis International LLP, and he has previously held senior roles at leading global law firms as well as in‑house experience on secondment at KKR & Co. Inc. (NYSE: KKR), the firm said.
